Commercial Applications of Foam Insulation

In addition to RetroFoam, Polymaster supplies several foam insulation products for commercial applications.

Existing Commercial Buildings

Business owners turn to RetroFoam when their existing commercial properties require insulation where none exitsts or re-installation of poor insulation. Contact a RetroFoam dealer about commercial application options of RetroFoam.

New Commercial Buildings

Polymaster's other commercial products - R501 and Incylthane - are specifically formulated to insulate new commercial construction. These products are often spec'ed into commercial jobs by architects. Please contact Polymaster for an R501 or Incylthane dealer near you, for more information about the product, or to become a dealer for R501 or Incylthane contact us.

R501

R501

Polymaster's R501 is a new-generation, vastly-superior alternative to traditional urea-formaldehyde foams (known for their odor). R501 is odor-free as well as non-toxic. R-501 foam insulation is a cost-effective, environmentally green, thermal and acoustical insulation designed for use in concrete block walls and cavities in commercial stuctures.

R501 Installation

R501 is pressure injected into masonry through 5/8" holes drilled directly into the wall. When injected, R-501 foam flows into and fills cavities, up to 12 feet vertically from the insertion hole.

R-501 yields R-4.6 per inch, equivalent to R-11.05 when injected into walls constructed of 105 lb. density concrete blocks (CMUs).

Incylthane

Incylthane is a quality polyurethane foam sprayed onto walls, effectively creating a sealed building envelope with a cozy R-7 per inch.

Our factory-trained installers spray up to 1-inch of Incylthane polyurethane foam on stud-wall cavities, metal buildings, and wythe cavities -- providing a self-adhering, seamless insulation barrier, completely filling even the smallest cracks and holes.

Incylthane is safe, biodegradable, nontoxic, and non-allergenic. Moreover, it both damp-proofs and insulates in one step. The days of having large sheets of foam board to store and manhandle are over!
